The goal of FloodSmartCanada is to provide a hub of information related to floods, flood risks, and emergency preparedness. We have consolidated flood-related material from sources across the country to help educate community members, organizations, businesses and municipalities about floods.
We now want to make the site bigger, bolder, fresher, and accessible to more Canadians through translation of materials in French, Chinese, Punjabi, Cree, Ojibwe, and Inuktituk.
We’ve applied for funding under the Community Resilience category of the Aviva Community Fund to make this happen, but we need your help.
Your vote counts – register to vote up to 18 times between now and October 28.
We all want a flood-resilient country, and your vote could help us get there.
